The USFDA (United States Food & Drug Association) has recently claimed an indication of warning describing the emission of the laser lights from a variety of the toys & these include spinning toys, laser gun, etc. & when these come in contact with the eyes of the kids, it leads to deterioration of the vision which cannot be repaired easily.
The laser is said to create a harmful impact in the form of a beam which shines directly into the eyes & can lead to such damages, as per informed by the experts. The medical professionals claim that such damages are not noticed easily & may go on even for weeks & thus the harmful consequences are of permanent nature which cannot be reversed. These are said to be enough fatal & cause harm to the eyes. This happens due to the fact that people assume toys to be harmless since they are carried away due to the colorful marketing techniques & their associated promotions.
It is therefore advised to the parents that they must encourage such exposures which must be effectively minimized among such toys. There are certain limits which must be followed by the parents when they buy toys for their kids & they must suit the strength of the kids. Fovea, which forms the central part of the retina, actually gets adversely affected due to such exposures. The dark pigment located in the fovea, absorbs the light & later gradually enhancing the temperatures of the retina.
Public awareness campaigns & media resources must encourage such aspects so as to improvise the standards of the proper stature of eyes of the children.
