SUMMARY: The Collier County Sheriffs Office, in partnership with the Safe & Healthy Childrens Coalition of Collier County, want to raise awareness of water safety by hosting the inaugural Hot Summer Nights Making a Splash event on Friday, May 3.
Collier County middle- and high-school students are invited to attend this free event at Sun-N-Fun Lagoon in North Naples. Students must bring their ID card to attend.
Some activities will include a mock drowning and rescue, water safety talk, CPR demonstration, and a competitive swimming demonstration.
