This office provided a service (Maybe) in Sept.'09, all my accounts were paid by my insurer and my co-payments were paid by me. Over a year later this company sent me a bill for over $120.00 and claimed they provide a "back up" service. I questioned this practice and asked for a full explanation in writing before I just send anyone money. They did not and several months later I get a call from a collection company that were advised of the entire procedure that I had. HIPAA Violation...ya think!! Unprofessional to say the least... FTC complaint already filed and will seek lawyer and Florida Atty Gen next...
