Deputies Say Man Traded Hot Items For Crack
Deputies arrested an Immokalee man on multiple felony charges in connection with a residential burglary in Golden Gate Estates.
Iles Dupont, 26, 723 Coyote Lane, Immokalee, was charged with five counts of dealing in stolen property.
Reports say Dupont was involved in the exchange of crack cocaine for items stolen from a residence at 6161 Lancewood Way.
A 37-inch television, two laptop computers, a Nintendo PS2 and a Denon AVR system were among the items reported stolen.
Burglaries:
• 4420 24th Ave. N.E., Wed., 4/16, between 10 a.m. and 10:05 a.m. Property taken: black 2007 utility trailer, lawn equipment. Entry: smash side window.
• 343 Golden Gate Blvd., Tues., 4/8, between 8:30 a.m. and 6:20 p.m. Property taken: TV, computer, monitor, jewelry, currency. Entry: pry front garage door.
• 3627 Randall Blvd., between 8:30 a.m. Thurs., 4/10, and 2:30 p.m. Fri, 4/11. Property taken: none. Entry: rear door
• 1729 47th Ave., Mon., 4/14, between 11:15 a.m. and 1:40 p.m. Property taken: TV, DVD players, shoes, perfume, water bottle dispenser. Entry: removed rear lanai door.
• 5265 Avila Ave. (Kraft Construction), between 4:30 p.m. Tues., 4/8, and 7:15 a.m. Wed,
4/09. Property taken: drill. Entry: no sign of forced entry.
Vehicle Burglaries:
• 4341 10th Ave. S.E., Wed., 4/16, between 8 p.m. and 11 p.m. Property taken: Oxycodone. Entry: unlocked vehicle.
• 920 47th Ave., between 12:01 a.m. Wed., 4/9, and 4:15 p.m. Fri., 4/11. Property taken: fishing equipment. Entry: open rear 2006 white UK boat.
