Known for having the best beaches in Southwest Florida, Marco Island is one of the top vacation destination to beach lovers. Although all of Marco Island's beach is considered free to the public, only a few locations have public access to the beach.

Location: Located on South Collier Boulevard

Located on South Collier Boulevard, Marco Island, 70 parking spaces, no facilities. $4.00 Parking Fee payable to the Master Meter, or Beach Parking Permit required. The Beach is open from sunrise to sundown.

Resident's Beach

Location: At the intersection of Collier Blvd and San Marco Rd South Marco Beach

Marco Island Resident's Beach offers Bathrooms, Grass Tiki huts and parking. The city of Marco Island holds a variety of events and celebrations there throughout the year. Access to Resident's Beach is for Marco Island residents only. Visitors staying on Marco Island can apply for a temporary permit with the City of Marco Island. Tigertail Beach

Location: Marco Island

There are 31 acres of natural environment and beach amenities. Amenities include restrooms, a bathhouse, five boardwalks, a picnic area, playground, sand volleyball court and a butterfly garden. Kayaks and water bikes can be hired as well as cabana rentals. A unique feature of this beach is the sandbar that is becoming a new barrier island called Sand Dollar Island. Changes are evident on an annual basis. Parking spaces total 210, so their is usually plenty of parking at Tigertail Beach. Parking is free to Collier County residents and cost $4.00 for visitors.
