He’s more focused on bringing every single job posting from every job posting board and Web site across the Internet to the site he maintains, Naples Plus — http://free.naplesplus.us In turn, the listings are available to as many people who want them.
Udut said the site currently has 1,300 members, and he is working to establish a way for them to communicate with each other, as with Job Angels. The site has been around since April 2007. Since then, 24,000 people have visited the site’s job listings page, Udut said. Between December 2008 and January, the number of monthly visitors to the jobs page went up ten-fold, Udut said.
His reason for maintaining the site? Keep it local.
“I just want to keep the economy local as much as possible,” Udut said. “I am a big believer in that. I don’t want the money to leave.”"
