NAPLES: East Naples firefighters responded to a fire at the Manorcare at Lely Palms nursing home Saturday afternoon.
The fire at 6135 Rattlesnake Hammock Road was accidental and was only in the laundry room.
When firefighters arrived they found smoke and put the fire out.
No one was hurt and the building was not evacuated.
NAPLES — East Naples firefighters responded Saturday afternoon to a fire at the Manorcare at Lely Palms nursing home at 6135 Rattlesnake Hammock Road.
East Naples fire spokesman Greg Speers said a dryer caught fire in the laundry room.
The accidental fire was contained to the laundry room and adjacent storage area, Speers said.
The first call came in around 12:33 p.m. and was declared out at 12:50 p.m.
There were no evacuations.
Golden Gate firefighters, Emergency Medical Services and the Collier County Sheriff’s Office also responded to the scene.
