A couple of years ago my son purchased 16,000.00 worth of furniture for deliver to Wisconsin. He made a down payment of 8,000.00. Much of the order was not custom, only the cushions for the furniture. This order was placed upon a given delivery date that they could not even come close to making. When my son attempted to cancel because they could not deliver until late in their summer,they refused and kept his $8000.00. He turned it over to his Wisconsin attorney who could not even get Carls attorney to respond. The only thing he received was copy of an altered contract, showing that the money would not be refunded if the order was cancelled. It was not worth another $8000.00 in attorney fees to hire a Florida Attorney to fight it. Carls, made no attempt to correct the problem or to make or make an attempt to credit him for his $8000.00
