A Preview Reception for It’s a Dog’s Life: Photographs by William Wegman from the Polaroid Collection and 10 Illustrated: An NAA Members’ Photography Exhibition will be held from 5:30 to 7:30 p.m. at The von Liebig Art Center, 585 Park Street in Naples. The opening reception is free for Naples Art Association members and $10 for non-members. 10 Illustrated: An NAA Members’ Photography Exhibition is sponsored by Naples Illustrated.

This year Naples Illustrated magazine and The von Liebig Art Center both celebrate their 10-year anniversaries. To tie the celebrations together and take “10 to the max” a Naples Art Association members’ juried photography exhibition will show how "10" can be illustrated or incorporated as a theme in photography.
July 12 - Aug 10, 2008 It’s a Dog’s Life: Photographs by William Wegman from the Polaroid Collection
It’s a Dog’s Life is a traveling exhibition organized by the DeLand Museum of Art featuring 29 of Wegman’s whimsical Polaroid images of his weimaraner dogs displaying human characteristics.

Artwork created during The von Liebig Art Center's 10th annual summer arts program will be on view.

For the second year in a row, three women received top awards in the NAA’s Founders Exhibition. Joan Brechin Sonnenberg, Gisela Miller and Janis Siegel were each given a $1,000 Founder’s award during the 46th Founders Juried Awards Exhibition in November of 2007. Selected work by each artist will be shown in this exhibition.
