Upcoming Events at Rookery Bay Rookery Bay National Estuarine Research Reserve is hosting its monthly “Brown Bag Lunch” lectures the first Wednesday of each month through April.
The programs, presented by regional experts, are 45-minute presentations that focus on natural resources at Rookery Bay.
Brown bag lectures are free and registration isn’t required. Participants are invited to bring their own brown bag lunch.
The lectures will take place from noon to 1 p.m. the first Wednesday of each month at the Rookery Bay Environmental Learning Center Auditorium, 300 Tower Road in Naples.
The topics of discussion are:
*Jan. 7, Cypress Cannibals.
*Feb. 4, Management of Shellfish Harvest Areas in Southwest Florida.
*March 4, To be announced.
*April 1, Tracking Florida panthers.
