Those bees are back in Naples FL for Summera nd Fall 2010! (Collier County, Marco Island, Bonita Springs, too!)

Call Ken at NeighborHelp Referrals' Affordable Trapping at 239-465-9291 to get the bees taken care of!
Up and coming nuisance wildlife problems for the Fall 2010 in Collier County Florida: Bees.

Over the past three months or so, we've noticed a sharp spike in bee problems in Naples, Bonita Springs and Marco Island. The bees are here - it's that time of year again! Wasps are picking up too.

We want you to know that NeighborHelp Referrals' Affordable Trapping handles bees. Call Ken at 239-465-9291 and we can get rid of that nest of bees for you. We handle killer bees, wasps, hornets. They're all the same to us. (although the killer bees like to attack the truck when we come by - they seem to know we're coming, and they get scared!)

You may find bees hiding under your soffit, your air conditioning unit, your telephone box, or divingbombing you as you go out to your car or back into your house.

NeighborHelp Referrals' Affordable Trapping removes bees in Naples, Estero, Marco Island, Bonita Springs, Vanderbilt Beach, Golden Gate, Golden Gate Estates, and everywhere inbetween.

Many local pest control companies don't usually like to deal with bees - but they like to refer to us. They're better at termites, ants, mosquitos, palmetto bugs - we don't take care of insects. But we do take care of bees.

Call Ken at 465-9291 and get those bees taken care of.

NOTE: If you are a pest control company and are not yet referring your bee jobs to us, just give Ken at a call at 239-465-9291 and let us know that you're interested. We won't take your pest control business away from you - that's not what we do. But we make you look good to your customers because you're helping them take care of their problem. Same holds true for raccoons, armadillos, opossums, coyotes, and rats - if you don't deal with those creatures, instead of turning away a customer, refer them to us. You do what you do best, and we do what we do best.

As reported on NBC-2 -- the bees DON'T like the cold weather! They freak out. Get rid of 'em now so they can stop being a menace.

This summer you'll notice the bee activity increasing. Get rid of 'em. I think you'll be happier if you do.

We've been amazed at the amount of calls for bees that we've been getting over the past month!

I think there must be some kind of cross-breeding between the killer bees and the regular honeybees going on in SWFLA, because the regular bees lately have been feistier than normal. They're not as bad as killer bees (you'll KNOW when you encounter them!) but they're not as docile as regular bees.

It's good for business (and we're happy to do it) but I'm just waiting to see a scientific paper popup about this, because I think it's happening as we speak.

I'm really thinking that the africanized honey bees and our regular bees have been mixing together.

My technician is amazed at the ferociousness of the local bee population this summer.

P.S.: we now offer "rodent screen" for your lanai. The only company we know of that is providing this service.

This is in addition to sealing the homes, removing critters (rats, raccoons, bees, etc) that we already do.

Call me at 239-465-9291 and we'll get somebody over there right away.

Your statement "They're not as bad as killer bees (you'll KNOW when you encounter them!) but they're not as docile as regular bees." is not quite true.

Many factors will influence Africanized or African honey bee defensive behaviour. The age and size of the colony ( increase in defensiveness as age/size increase ) and the colony genetics are important factors.

The first cross, i.e., an African father and European Mother can produce a very defensive colony.
