Olympics in China
Wow! That's all I can say!
I just finished seeing the opening ceremonies of the 2008 Summer Olympics. Wow! The creative part of the introduction -- the dances were unbelievable! They said that there were 15,000 dancers total in the different dances they did -- with NO REPEATS. Each dance seemed to have a couple of thousand people PERFECTLY choreographed doing their thing AT THE SAME TIME (including 2008 Tai Chi masters all moving complex moves at the same time!) I think they all had 2008 dancers. One thing they did looked very digital and computer generated - boxes rising up and down in various patterns -- very very beautiful - and at the end you see people popping up out of these 2008 boxes - that seemed to be computer controlled! Really really spectacular. I look forward to any Youtube rebroadcasts of it.
