Greetings dear friends and supporters of ResilientCollier,
We hope you’ve had a pleasant, safe, relaxed and productive summer!
ReslientCollier has spent much of the summer working quietly with Collier County government staff on its efforts to secure from the U.S. Department of Energy a $3 million economic stimulus grant. Part of the money is intended to build community energy-reduction programs.
So, we will gather Thursday, September 24, 6 p.m. in the North Collier Government Center on Orange Blossom Drive (next to Main Library) to discuss:
1. Community-wide Energy Reduction/Stimulus Grant. 2. Hear plans being formed by Dianne Rhodes and Climate Change Action Week: Naples Leading the Way Toward Sustainability, beginning October 24. Read more about that here: http://www.facebook.com/l/b6e2c;www.350.org/o24/action/3997
