Ave Maria Dance Academy (www.avemariadance.com) is holding its 3rd annual Dance Recital on May 21st, 2011 at 1:00 pm at the Palmetto Ridge H.S. on Oil Well Road. At this 2 hour event over 100 dancers will be performing in nearly 30 routines. It will be an exciting day with an audience of over 400 spectators.
The Dance Academy is proud to be an outstanding member in the community, involved with local events and is pleased to bring the art of dance to students from all over the community. Karen Ledesma, owner of the studio said, "Dance is an important asset to our community and we at Ave Maria Dance Academy strive to make sure every dancer has a chance to participate regardless of their economic situation". With help from local businesses, the academy has set a goal to raise enough money to cover costs and possibly have funds to offer scholarships next season to deserving dancers.
