July 10, 2012 - The American Institute of Health Care Professionals has recently announced the availability of certification programs for professionals who want to become substance abuse and addiction counselors. Recertification programs are also available for those who want to take advantage of continuing education courses in order to improve their skills and keep up to date with the latest methodologies and approaches. Many people choose different fields of career specialties for a reason. Those who choose to go for careers that involve counseling have a real mission in their lives, and that is to help people get over their problems. Substance abuse counseling certification offered by the American Institute of Health Care Professionals can be completed in within a 3 year period.
