Serving breakfast lunch and dinner, it is always okay to stop in no matter what you’re in the mood for. They also do private events, parties, and to go! Starting up at 8 am, they run deliveries anywhere in the French Quarter and will take care of your hunger needs. Oceana also offers catering services including take out party trays for off-site catering, offering help with everything from cooking to serving to make your event a success.
You can view the catering/take out brochure here, which shows you the various meal packages and their prices. In this menu is a “By the Pan” section which has fabulous items including Crawfish Etouffee, Classic Red Beans and Rice, Mardi Gras Pasta, and Jambalaya Pasta. Crawfish Etouffee is a southern cajun stew served with delicious steamed rice. Mardi Gras pasta is sautéed shrimp and crawfish tails with bell pepper and onions all simmered in a rich creamy penne Alfredo.
Meal packages also come priced per person, giving you a choice of having an entree served with salad and vegetables. This menu includes Cajun Vegetarian Stew, Blackened Chicken, Mahi Mahi Creole, and Mini Po-boys. The vegetable stew is fresh veggies cooking in red gravy served with steamed rice. The Mahi mmahi Creole is Grilled Mahi Mahi topped with Oceana’s Cajun Cream Sauce, also served on this menu is the Mini Po-boys comprised of Blackened Shrimp or Chicken topped with Coleslaw and Remoulade sauce. Oceana also serves breakfast and soup and salads all priced by the person.
