Friday, September 14th is World Hearing Voices Day. If you hear voices or see things that aren’t real, know someone who does or want to find out more about these occurrences, join us for this presentation by NAMI staff and persons with first-hand experience.
The National Alliance on Mental Illness (NAMI) of Collier County is pleased to announce the first presentation in our 2012-13 Guide Series on "Hearing Voices, Seeing Things," 6-7:30 p.m. on Wednesday, September 5th in the Guenther & Rhonda Gosch Training Room at NAMI, 6216 Trail Blvd. in Naples. Registration is required by calling (239) 434-6726 or e-mailing Marsha@NAMICollier.org. NAMI staff and persons with first-hand experience will discuss common causes of hearing voices and seeing things, how daily life is impacted and coping mechanisms.
