The Jewellery that Robert Young Sculpture makes, is, well, not quite the run of the mill stuff.
It has been used to help finding love, assisted with falling pregnant and used as a bribery method for wayward teenagers.
This new collection Evolve Love Rings also seems to be on the edge of what is traditional and what is definitely not. Even his diamond setter scratches his head sometimes.
In this latest collection he uses the widest variety of metals from Copper, yes the stuff found under the sink to silver, to gold, platinum and palladium. Combining with and without gems and stones.
Robert Young firmly believes that jewellery should not be about how much its costs but how much meaning it has. This statement is carried through with this collection which starts at $195 which, is not much for a handmade object, to the most expensive Platinum Diamond combination which is $3400.
The idea being that you pick and choose as feel and combine 1, 2, 3 or more Evolve Love Rings. Mixing them with the clothes you are wearing or matching them to the mood you feel. Their are available in 2 thickness, x 2 overall shapes, x 10 metal options, x 6 stone options (or 32 no stone options). Thats a staggering amount of possibilities for the first ring. Then sit that ring up against the next and you have an unbelievable amount of options. In fact if you wore 4 Evolve Love rings you'd have 56,420 different possibilities and combinations.
