United States, 31st July 2013: Biodegradable plastics are a sure shot escape to a greener planet, as companies now welcome this new concept and have started using it in their manufacturing and packing processes. Companies these days have now started to understand the impact of conventional plastics and so they are now swiftly switching to eco-friendly plastics, which degrade into carbon matters that easily dissolve into air, water and earth and have no harmful effects.
In the past few decades, ever since polymers were invented, it was clearly understood that this was a form of matter which would not degrade easily and would eventually be a threat to the environment. And now, after all this time, it has come true and now we are left to choose between a clean and green planet or the polymers that are an inseparable part of our lives. So why not use the better part, which is biodegradable plastic? Biodegradable plastic and biodegradable plastic additive products are similar, and have almost the same properties and features. They are both biodegradable, as the name suggests.
With biodegradable plastics, there is now an end to the headache of disposal of the plastics, which often were so huge in amount that they had become a permanent threat to the country’s environment and economy. Because no matter how good the recycling process was, the companies can’t say for sure they have recycled every single plastic that has been thrown across the street onto a pile of garbage. Biodegradable plastics are not only good to use, they are good to dispose off as well. Now people do not need to think about reusing a plastic can, they can just throw it off and it is guaranteed that the matter will exist no more than a few weeks in the garbage bin. The biodegradable plastic takes the form of carbon dioxide, methane, water and biomass in a matter of weeks and so, these no longer remain a national concern.
