Back pain is caused due to spinal compression fractures

These small fractures in the bones that form your spine are frequently caused by osteoporosis. Luckily, these compression fractures can be treated with pain medicine and bed rest. Spinal compression fractures are also called as vertebral compression fractures which are most common in older women whose bones have become brittle from osteoporosis.
