Russia, 24th September 2013 - Fastwel recently introduced 110 x 150 mm SBC aimed for automation systems in industrial control and transport sector to undergo harsh conditions successfully. These all-new single board computers are ideal for operating in -40°C - +105°C temp ranges.
A VEGA X86-compatible processor is present at the core of this single board. This processor comes from SMicroelectronics, Pentium II performance and MMX support. There is also a LynxEM controller for graphics and 4MB video integrated memory, which uses just 1 watt. Operation requirement is also easy with presence of 2 separate video interfaces, leading to support from a Dual Display.
Besides CRT standard monitor this is also compatible with DSTN displays and flat TFT. Display resolution support is up to 1024x768 px. Based on version type CPB902 shows availability with soldered 128MB or a 32MB RAM. Additionally, there is also a 16MB solid-state flash memory present. In situations where an increased memory requirement is present, this CPB902 embedded SBC is able to support CompactFlash solid-state storage drive. It also supports standard hard disk form factor drives using IDE interface.
State-of-the-art CPB902 incorporates I/O port ranges, including RS-232 6-ports. Four out of these supports RS-422/485 with varied connectivity involving peripheral low-level devices having data rates in the range of 921 kb per sec. This allows for real-time transfer of data effectively.
Two Ethernet high speeds 10/100MB per sec ports allow CPB902 embedded PC integration with automation process, network system having flow channel data reservation. Two 1.1 USB ports are also present that allow connection with an expansive, peripheral device range. Besides, there are also PS/2, standard LTP, and interface for floppy disk present.
