So with this in mind, here are some awesome ways to create a garden-like environment within your office.
Christmas is a joyful time, and there’s no reason why it should be eliminated from the office. After all, there is nothing better than a bit of office refurbishment to mark the festive season – not only does it welcome in more clients, but it makes employees feel happier during their working day. Many office workers don’t get to see much colour throughout their working day, especially when the weather outside is so miserable and grey so the Christmas lights really cheers them up and increases worker morale.
With this in mind, here are some great tips on decorating your office for Christmas…
1) Buy a Beautiful Tree
You’re better off having a fake tree because real pine smells quite strongly and is a real pain to keep cleaning when time is better spent working. These can be bought ready-decorated and lit or plain so you can decorate them yourself. Personally, I think plainer is better because the office can choose their own colours etc. and decorate the tree as a team.
2) Choose a relevant colour scheme
Look at your company logo etc. What are the colours? Match your tree to the colours of your business so that the Christmas tree looks pretty and festive but still smart and sophisticated. 3) Don’t leave any room un-decorated
It wouldn’t be fair to decorate the sales room and leave the accounts room un-touched. Everyone in your office deserves to be greeted with festive cheer, however small it is. Yes, you might decide to make one room the main focus but add some tinsel or a few Christmassy wreaths to the other rooms too (excluding the bathroom and kitchen) so that no matter where employees or clients go, they will feel that delightful air of festivity.
