The physicians recommend such disorders occur due to genetic factors & are rarely observed among the population. It mainly creates its impact after 35 years of age & simultaneously giving rise to a number of issues associated with mobility, functioning of the mental health & behavioral patterns. It has been observed that people affected with this disease usually lose the battle of life after 20 years of its occurrence & there have been no proper treatment measures to overcome from such disease.
The main reason for the suffering of this disease is there is an abnormal pattern of mutation that takes place in the gene & this causes the encoding of the protein associated with Huntingtin. It is because of such mutations which help for the creation of elongated stretches of amino acid glutamine that takes place along the chain of protein & causes preventing of Huntingtin from getting folded & possessing adhesive nature.
It leads for such proteins for getting aggregated by itself in the nucleus as well as cytoplasm of the cells & disturbing the different functioning of the cells & causing the death of the nerve cells. The nuclear huntingtin leads for the interference with the transcriped genes & there must be the inhibition of such genes with the help of enzymes known as histone deacetylases (HDAC’s). The human body possesses at least 11 various enzymes of HDAC & there has been a need for the inhibition of such enzyme so as to diagnose with the benefits. It must be noted that all such activities take place in the cytoplasm & not the nucleus where an enzyme termed as HDAC4 leads for an efficient role in the transcription.
