It is formed in any part of the body and can be felt by touching. It is a bacterial infection which can be felt painful and warm while touching. Abscess is obtained in two parts of the body:

1. The skin: mostly abscess is formed just under the skin which is painful and appears as swollen. It is formed in armpits, in vaginal or anus area, near tooth. Abscess formed under the skin affects the hair root and shows many symptoms such as swelling, redness, pain, and warmth over the affected area. 2. Both kind of abscess are formed by the infection of bacteria such as staphylococcus aureus and streptococcus pyogenes. This are the most common types of bacteria formed causes skin abscess on head, underarms, limb, and neck, Treatments:

1. Applying warm compresses for half an hour daily for 4 times gives relief, stop draining the abscess by pressing on it. It pushes the infected substances deep inside which will cause more trouble, avoid sticking needles on the abscess as it may affect your blood vessels by causing infection to spread.

2. Internal abscess can be cured by draining the pus either from surgery or using the needle. Here, the surgeon will use ultrasound to guide the needle into the right place. Many other preventive measures can be taken by the patient such as quitting smoke, controlling weight, eating healthy foods, taking skin care (by washing hands regularly and using clean towels).
