Blood pressure is determined the amount of blood your heart pumps and the amount of resistance to the blood flow in your arteries. Uncontrolled high blood pressure increases the risk of serious health problems such as heart attack and stroke. High blood pressure can be easily detected.

People with early stage of high blood pressure may have headaches, dizzy spells, and nosebleeds. Other problems of hypertension include kidney problems, thyroid problems, defects in blood vessels, adrenal gland tumors.

Certain medications such as birth control pills, pain relievers, illegal drugs such as cocaine and amphetamines, over-drinking of alcohol are the main causes of blood pressure.

Though there are measures which a blood pressure patient can follow to control their blood pressure from getting increase. Eating a healthy diet food with less salt, doing exercise daily and regularly, quitting smoke, and losing weight are the factors that can prevent it from increasing. Other measures are:

1.Thiazide diuretics: It is also known as medication. It is a medication that acts on kidneys to help body eliminate sodium, and water which reduces blood volume.

2.Beta blockers: It is a medication helps to reduce work load on heart and opens blood vessels that helps to heart beat slower with less force.

3.Calcium channel blocker is a medication that helps to relax the muscles of blood vessels and slows down the heart rate.

4.Taking Aliskiren helps to slow down the production of rennin. Renin is an enzyme produced by kidney that increases blood pressure.

5.Angiotensin-converting enzyme indicators and angiotensin 2 receptor blockers are the medication that helps to relax the blood vessels by blocking the formation of natural chemicals.
