Bonita Springs - Chase away the summer doldrums with the electric stage presence of Brylcream lead singers, Billy D and Christine, bringing Bonita Springs, Florida a taste of Ft. Myers based Brylcream’s diversity.

Sold out last year, the duo’s second annual concert at Unity Church of Bonita Springs, 28285 Imperial Parkway, Sunday afternoon at 2:00 p.m. October 26, includes Classic Rock, Disco and a little dab of Doo Wop, jukebox hits from the 50’s 60’s and 70’s and a taste of each decade.

Brylcream was inducted into Dr. Doo Wop's Hall of Fame for their spot on Acapella performances, a sample of music from the 50's to the 90's.

Bill “Billy D” Louth, grew up in the 50s. His mother was a professional singer and ballroom dance instructor. Lead singer in his first high school Doo Wop group with “street corner singing” like in the movie, Rocky, “We also sang for free pizza at local pizza places,” said Billy D.

Passing on chances to join the Canons backup group and Dick Clark to finish college, he taught elementary school but later performed with such notables as Diana Ross and the Supremes, Smokey Robinson and the Miracles, and Nathaniel Mayer (Village of Love)) and a back up group for Freddie “Boom Boom” Cannon (Way Down Yonder In New Orleans and Palisades Park). When he moved to Naples, he joined Brylcream as their new lead singer in 1995.

Born in Wilkes-Barre Pennsylvania and raised in the Pocono Mountains, Chistine Bradford performed professionally in stage productions by age 16. She later toured with “Sweet Seduction”, including a three-month tour of Japan and added tours with the Charlie Prose, David Grayson shows, original 60’s artists, Danny and The Juniors, (At the Hop, Rock & Roll is Here To Stay), The Dovells, (The Bristol Stomp, You Can’t Sit Down), and Bobby Lewis, (Tossin’ and Turnin’)to her resume.

Concert tributes to Frankie Valli, The Platters, Celine Dion, Connie Francis, Whitney Houston, The Four Tops and more from Doo-Wop, Motown, Country and Disco to Classic Rock, provides everyone with music memories and a sweet summer afternoon.

Unity of Bonita Springs, 28285 Imperial Pkwy, Bonita Springs, FL, the site for the second annual concert by Billy D and Christine also hosts the spring Jerry Stawski Jazz Quartet, a sold out venue for the last five years. The intimate setting with great acoustics brings the stage to the audience for a personal experience with great musicians and their performances.
