Children's International Film Festival, Dubai Inviting Students From Around The World For Filmmaking
27Th October 2014 – Children's International Film Festival, Dubai has been inviting students including teenagers and pre-teens from around the world for participating in the filmmaking workshops and competition.
The basic objective of CIFF is to identify, nurture and encourage young and aspiring filmmakers studying in schools in the United Arab Emirates (UAE) through its Filmmaking Competition as well as to set an internationally recognized standard of excellence in films and videos for children by inviting professional filmmakers from across the world to showcase their exceptional work made especially for children.
To achieve these objectives, they have packed CIFF 2015 with filmmaking workshops, film appreciation forums, filmmaking competition, meaningful and inspirational cinema from around the world, awards and just like in the past – lots & lots of fun for everyone.
The Film Studio FZ-LLC, Dubai – a full-fledged Film & TV Production and Events Management company, organizes this non-profit, yearly festival. With this festival, their goal is to set an internationally recognized standard of excellence in films and videos created for children. It is further their mission to support and encourage the work of talented and dedicated filmmakers across the world, by showcasing international films.
Over time, CIFF has attracted an incredible amount of attention from schools, parents, families & filmmakers - locally, regionally and globally. In appreciation of the love we have received, Team CIFF is introducing more awards in the 2015 edition. While student films will contend for 23 awards, the International Films will contend for 3 awards.
