Hingham, MA- PES Associates Inc. team members win a 2015 Best in Boston Real Estate award in the special use/mixed use project category.
Hingham, MA, May 28, 2015 /PressReleasePing/ - Team members Stephan White, Amy Littler and Ellen Blackburn from PES Associates Inc. were honored with a 2015 Boston Business Journal Best in Boston Real Estate award in the special use/mixed use category. The team was recognized at The Sheraton Hotel in Boston on May 14th for their environmental engineering work done on a new BJ's Gas site in Quincy, Massachusetts. Amy Littler accepted the award on behalf of PES Associates Inc.

BJ's Gas is participating in the significant redevelopment efforts currently happening in Quincy MA. BJ's saw an opportunity to develop their newest gas location on a run-down property that was contaminated with asbestos as well as contaminated soil. The team at PES Associates Inc. was contacted to work on this parcel and apply over twenty years of expertise in handling the project.
The 33,316 square foot project was fast-tracked to thirteen weeks, with a purchase date of September 12th 2014, demolition and environmental cleanup beginning September 15th 2014 and a certificate of occupancy received on December 18th 2014. That is practically unheard of for a problem-filled site like this and the station was open and selling gas to the public on December 19th 2014.
