Nunan Florist and Greenhouses, a florist, garden center and national grower that sells plants and flowers grown in-house, and recently recognized as the 2015 Reader's Choice Award Winner as #1 florist and garden center in the region, is preparing for a big Summer Celebration at their Farmer's Market on their Georgetown, MA property.
Georgetown, MA, August 05, 2015 /PressReleasePing/ - Your local florist and garden center, Nunan Florist and Greenhouses in Georgetown, MA, is excited to be hosting a fun and yummy Summer Celebration this week in honor of National Farmers Market Week! This Thursday, August 6th from 2:30pm to 6pm they will be cooking up FREE delicious hot dogs and sweet summer corn on the cob donated by Long Hill Orchard and Farm and handing them out to those visiting the market that day. Come early to get them while they last! Nunan's passion to support local growers and continually advocate for local products in the community is alive and well in their effort to showcase many talented vendors at their seasonal #NunansFarmersMkt.
This week at the Farmer's Market, there will be no shortage of fresh, organic and locally grown fruits and veggies from the local area community farms. Visitors will have their pick of handmade and scrumptious prepared foods, freshly baked goods like mini popovers provided by Kismet Kafe, and even gluten-free options. In addition to a variety of tasty edibles, visitors will also have the opportunity to shop a variety of unique, handcrafted jewelry and gifts, handmade soaps and more! The Summer Celebration at the Farmer's Market will be held in the front parking area of Nunans starting at 2:30 in the afternoon and ending at 6 pm, and will continue regularly every Thursday, rain or shine!
