Recently, CVS Health Corp. decided to drop Pfizer Inc. Viagra that treats erectile dysfunction, from the drug insurance benefits list. This action is taken two years prior to the medicine’s possibility of facing a high competition from generic variants.

12th August 2015, United States, (http://www.bluepharmacyrx.net/): Recently, CVS Health Corp. decided to drop Pfizer Inc. Viagra that treats erectile dysfunction, from the drug insurance benefits list. This action is taken two years prior to the medicine’s possibility of facing a high competition from generic variants. Another medicine, Kamagra is said to lead the market of impotence treatment in men, very soon with outstanding demand and sales figure. However, patients can receive coverage on Cialis of Eli Lilly & Co. CVS may formulate the decision as early as January 1.

However, men need not worry as other firms and retailers house Viagra under insurance claims. Even if they cannot avail the drug, alternate and effective cure for impotence will be offered with Zenegra tablets. This product equally brings erection on consumption with enough sexual stimulation as like other counterparts. Consumers are tending to look for other treatment options with these products now that these are easily accessible. But, CVS has been a large retail chain giving discounts on such medicines.

The retail outlet has had an impact on drug business when in the year of 2007, it acquired Caremark, establishing as second-largest manager in pharmaceutical benefits for the U.S employers and insurers. This is the reason why its decision on medicines coverage makes a difference to drug manufacturers like Pfizer and others. Pfizer alone is estimated to touch sales worth $1.7 billion by next year. Similarly, those who buy Zenegra online can also get Viagra from internet pharmacies, grossing sales limit skyward.

The press representatives of CVS were unavailable for commenting on the decision on why Pfizer’s anti-erectile dysfunction medicine was dropped from drug coverage. But, it is speculated that CVS and similar pharmacy benefit organizations strike deal with pharmaceuticals in offering their medicines at an incredibly low price to keep competitors at bay. A growing need of Eriacta tablets to outdo male impotence is also helping relevant manufacturers in shaping their pace to stay with the competition.

Scott MacGregor, the spokesman of Eli Lilly said that their organization does not give out specifics of their conversation to payers. He also said that Lilly will always support efforts in assuring the men with impotence to access the right medicines for treatment. The CVS drugstores will give out Viagra to customers who are ready to pay for its complete cost or possess drug insurance cover for the same. Insurers or employers who utilize CVS in managing their medicines benefits will be able to access this drug.

Manufacturers of other erectile dysfunction treatment medicines are expressing their fear over this ruling, as many of them are unclear as to what the future list will hold in store for their produced products. However, the list is already out and has brought a sigh of relief to other pharmaceuticals. While non-medicated cure are available for impotence, men still prefer medicinal supplements for their quick relief working that too without the requirement of clinical visits and surgeries.

The Pfizer spokesman, Steve Danehy said that the company is committed in ensuring the patients access to its medicines and Viagra will be available to the needy patients from marketplace, even for the ones whose pharmacy benefits are controlled by the Caremark. Express Scripts Holding Co. the biggest competition to CVS is supporting Viagra insurance benefit cover and that for Cialis in the year of 2016, as per the details of list published in the week. However, both the retailers do not cover Levitra of Bayer AG.
