The Dignified Final Disposition Act conferred that unborn fetuses should not be treated as medical wasted after their death, be it accidental, spontaneous or induced.

2 sept 2015, United States(http://www.mtpabortionpill.com/) : After sting videos were launched about Planned Parenthood, the debacle of fetal tissue donation has broken out, endangering basic reproductive rights for women, including pregnancy termination. Now, Texas is scanning the videos produced from Planned Parenthood to understand if their activities defy federal laws. Who and how MTP Kit will be administered to end early pregnancy will also be a point of discussion, though it should not be radically included in the investigation.

Ken Paxton, the attorney general of Texas responded to the senate hearing in the month of July. The committee hearing may impose more restriction on access to pregnancy ending services in Texas. But, in 2010-2011, there were no records of fetal tissue donations, with only one clinic of Planned Parenthood participating in the program. Women may not be able to buy abortion pill as before as the centers that dispense and control pregnancy termination process may be reduced from 40 to 10 or 7 only.

The Dignified Final Disposition Act conferred that unborn fetuses should not be treated as medical wasted after their death, be it accidental, spontaneous or induced. If the woman carrying the embryo permits the use of fetal remains for study, only then can these be donated or the leftover should be met proper funeral. However, those who took MTP Kit online for ending pregnancy would not have a say as to their fetus’s disposition. Thus, women’s reproductive rights seem to get more constricted.

The senate committee is being chaired by Senator Charles Schwertner, who is allegedly running a different investigation than the one being performed by office of attorney general. Paxton’s testimony reflected the opinion of Americans United for Life (anti-abortion advocacy community). Those taking abortion pill online could be deemed for criminal act, as the laws may also state that pregnancy end can be done only in clinics or on medical prescription. However, no policies have been finalized yet.

The attorney general was of the opinion that rather than discussing the misdeeds of sale involving fetal parts, the institution of abortion is a sheer abomination. When he was persuaded to talk about investigation, he was tight lipped about scanning other institutions involved in early pregnancy ending other than the Planned Parenthood. Thus, the actual reach of MTP Kit and consequent abortion figures can vary dangerously, predicting indifferent statistics, which would be considered to sketch laws.

Texas had a 20 week ban on pregnancy termination and the restriction can extend to contraception access as well. If funding to Planned Parenthood and its clinics are shut down, then Texas women will find it difficult to buy abortion pill and birth control devices/medications. None other hospital would then be privileged to carry on a safe end to pregnancy with medicines or surgery at woman’s will. Females will have to go through strenuous travel for reaching at optimum medical station for the process.

Such laws, if implemented can put a huge stress on women. Many will lose access to timely healthcare and may have to select MTP Kit online secretly to terminate their pregnancy. This could cause additional problems of unsafe procedure, if a prior health check up is not done and uterus/fetus complications are present. Though there has been drop in figures of number of women undergoing abortions, the facts could be untrue. A wave of dissatisfaction is already streaming among Texans.

Restriction on FDA approved medicines is being protested by those who are in favor of medical pregnancy termination. Surprisingly, a female can agree to get abortion pill online only if the gestation stage is within 20 weeks, a period, wherein people are most obvious to the fact that they are pregnant. Thus, this is a direct attack on women’s reproductive rights. Other than health services, ban on medicines for ceasing pregnancy and their use could stir trouble for Texas women.
