If you have old gutters just lying around, quickly clean them, add some paint and turn them into most creative vertical garden ever.

It is hard to show off your green thumb when you don't have enough space. But, no matter how small your space is, there is always a way to utilize it. If you don't have much horizontal space, why not go vertical? Find the best way to utilize the space you already got, no matter if that is a small patch of land, patio, balcony or even fire escape. Luckily, you have come to the right place. Find all the answers you need and create your own vertical garden.

You will find containers that would be perfect for your garden in almost any shop. Find the ones you like, fill with soil and you are ready to go. If you are more of a crafty side, then you should try to find a way to utilize the stuff you already have. Wine crates, boxes made of scrap wood or wooden drawers can be used as a base for your gardening project. Install trellis system to accommodate more plants, or even vining vegetables. Just imagine, you could pick a batch of tomatoes from your own balcony garden.

If you have old gutters just lying around, quickly clean them, add some paint and turn them into most creative vertical garden ever. Align them one above another with enough distance between them for plants, tie together and hang on the sturdy fixture. You surely didn't think of using regular pots to spruce up your vertical garden, but you couldn't be more wrong. Use them to go vertical on your fence or wall. Just add few hanging hooks that will hold pots in place, fill them with soil and plant plants or vegetables of your choosing.

Add some metal bands and screws to hold them in place and you'll have an amazing vertical garden. Just don't forget to add some small rocks to the bottom of jars because they don't have drainage holes. You can either create little planting pockets with landscape fabric or fill the whole pallet with soil after you staple fabric to the back. No matter which option do you choose, you will surely get an amazing garden.

There are so much different plants that can find a home in your new vertical garden so it can be hard to choose the perfect ones. Try planting tomatoes, green beans and peas, cucumbers, lettuce, broccoli, spinach, strawberries and all sort of different herbs to create an amazing vegetable patch.
