William Prescott had four sons: Charles, James, George, and William, and they all worked in the business from very young ages. In 1961 at age 83, William Prescott passed away, and the business was left to George since Charles passed on before his father and James worked for Duquesne Light Co. The name was then changed to William Prescott & Sons. George and William worked at the business and added heating to their services. William's son, Bill Jr., also worked in the business since age 16. In 1974 after George and William retired, Bill Jr. continued working in the business with the new additions and changed the name to William Prescott Roofing & Heating. In the early 70's, Bill Jr. incorporated the business, and it grew and became more diversified. He sold the heating division and concentrated on roofing and remodeling services.
