With four programmable, application-specific buttons, I have developed specific workflows and functionality that effortlessly shifts as I move through my graphic design apps. The buttons are easy to access with my fingertips and thumb, and they click in a solid and satisfactory way. The scrolling ring that wraps around the trackball is a great navigation tool, and one of the best innovations to Kensington trackball products ever. Its a wonderful feature that I really miss when Im not using a trackball.

My experience with the new Expert Mouse Wireless Trackball from Kensington has been great. The wireless feature really cleans up your desktop, and I had zero connectivity issues, which is huge. I think the default settings on the customization software are pretty solid, but theres always room for tweaking how fast or slow to accelerate upon reaching a destination for example, as well as keyboard shortcuts. The trackballs scroll ring, which replaces the traditional scroll wheel on a mouse, is an awesome concept that makes for effortless and convenient up and down scrolling. Overall Im very happy with the trackball, especially the accuracy and speed.
