Last year 42 bands entered and one band took home all the money. Congratulations to A DANK SEASON for winning the 2007 Moony Mann BATTLE OF THE BANDS Sponsored and hosted by and Gator Music of Naples This year the sponsors are PULSE Magazine and Ultimate Force Records. If your band wants to enter the Battle just send a message with the following:

There will be a band orientation meeting on Tuesday July 22nd.
The 2008 Moony Mann Battle of the Bands is the biggest in SW FLORIDA and allows many local and regional bands a chance to get exposure to widen their fan base, win some money and prizes, support the local LIVE music community and potentially get a regular paying gig at one of SW Florida's best Live music spots.
The orientation meeting has been set for Tuesday July 22 at 7:00pm. at The Blue Monkey Bar in Naples located in the plaza on the NW corner of Vanderbilt Beach Rd and Collier Blvd. At the meeting you will have a chance to meet the other bands, ask questions and look at the venue and PA system among other things. You will receive promotional material at the meeting including posters and promo cards. "
