50 Wilson Blvd Ste 12, Naples Fl 34117

The kountry spot opened in the middle of March 2011.

They're located at the intersection of Wilson and Golden Gate Blvd in Golden Gate Estates.

The address is: 50 Wilson Blvd, Suite 12, Naples, FL 34117.

Phone: 239-304-1552

The owner is Laura Heineck.

Their email address is kountryspot@aol.com

I ate there this morning (March 14 '11). As I entered the newly opened eatery, I heard country music playing faintly in the background

Everything looked clean and I could smell breakfast in the air.

Customers were happily chatting away about swamp buggies and such with the owner, Laura Heineck, who is fulfilling a long held dream of opening up a place just like The Kountry Spot Bar & Grill.

On their soft opening weekend, business was booming already. Beers and food were flying out of the kitchen - and the grand opening isn't even until this upcoming weekend!

I had an egg sandwich with sausage and cheddar cheese. It was served on a croissant. For $3.50 this can't be beat - it was a full meal on a sandwich.

Coffee was delicious, and I am particular about coffee.

Two egg sandwiches and two large coffees came to $11 exactly, which is a pretty good price considering the large sandwiches and extra large coffees.

We'll definitely be back - next time - lunch! -ken, webmaster of naplesplus.

We stopped in to the kountry spot today to grab a quick lunch, and to see what she's added since yesterday.

Added is three TVs, all quietly playing sports, and the country music was at a pleasantly low volume. You can hear it but it sits in the background.

We looked at the lunch menu, and we realized that neither of us were overly hungry. So we split a Cobb salad. Other choices were a selection of burgers, ribs, pulled pork and other things. The chili was tempting but I'll wait until our next adventure to test it out.

Very comfortable atmosphere. There were a few working guys finishing up their lunch. While we were there, an older man came in, sat at the bar and ordered a beer.

Plus, throughout our stay (which was around 1pm), a young man was busy going in and out of the bar and grill to fulfill takeout orders, presumably from the neighboring stores or perhaps providing home delivery (which, we noticed, is an option), a rarity these days and will prove very welcomed out here in rural Golden Gate Estates.

We asked our salad to be split, and we were not disappointed. She made us separate plates, each with perfectly portioned cobb salads. It was delicious, with warm chicken, crispy bacon, avacado and a few other additions that made this Cobb salad delicious to the last bite.

We hung around and chit chatted for a good 20 minutes, sipping on beer and coffee respectively, thrilled to finally have a sit down place to eat to call our own, the Kountry Spot Bar & Grill.

Cheap food. the pulled pork looked like it was out of a pre-made tub. The fries were soft. And the beans were for sure straight out of the can. No seasoning. If you are going to sell BBQ make it home-made. This maybe a great place for those that want to get out of the house and sit in a bar close to home. 2.00 beer during happy hour 3-6.

They have to step up the food quality to match the 8.99 pulled pork, 10.99 1/2 slab of ribs (go to mels diner the ribs are better there and full rack 11.99), 16.99 full rack at Kountry Spot.

To be fair I realized they just opened and are getting in the groove. I don't think I will be eating their lunch or dinner again. I will drive a little further into town to get better food. I don't see this place making it unless they can survive on the sales of beer.

Hey yall - ken here again - we stopped in for supper. Opening day. We missed seeing Cat Country, but the motorcycle folk were hanging out outside, having a good time. They just added picnic tables, which is a nice touch.

We had chili and a burger. Chili is homemade - mild but full of flavor. The burger was charred outside, medium inside - tasted like a bbq!

All in all not too bad. I think they'll done fine out here. Give it a shot and be nice as they're still workin on everything

Ken
