Two Celebrity Bartender nights at Shula's Steak House resulted in Wishes being granted in Southwest Florida and a lot of fun for all!
Shula’s Steak House hosted two great nights of fun and cheer with two local celebrity bartenders, Tony Marino of the Marino Group and Charlie Babb, former player for the Miami Dolphins.
A large crowd gathered for each night of fun and helped to raise money for the Make-A-Wish Foundation® of Southern Florida by tipping their favorite bartender. Marino and Babb mixed up drinks and conversation to bring in the tips. All of the bartender gratuities were donated to the cause.
The Celebrity Bartender Nights were free events and the bartenders encouraged everyone to tip heavily. The goal was to raise enough money to grant a wish for a local child according to Tom Donahue, general manager of Shula’s Steak House.
The Make-A-Wish Foundation of Southern Florida grants wishes to children with life-threatening medical conditions to enrich the human experience with hope, strength, and joy. Twenty-eight years of magic and more than 8,000 wishes later, the Foundation continues its mission to share the power of a wish® with ailing children.
