Make-A-Wish Foundation® of Southern Florida Welcomes New Board Member

Thomas Falciglia has been named to the board of directors of the Make-A-Wish Foundation of Southern Florida. Falciglia, a retired banking executive, has been an active volunteer with the Foundation for over 10 years. He has taken on the role of Wishmaker®, Wish Granter, and Ambassador. He has been an active volunteer with the Kids for Wish Kids® program, has been an airport greeter for wish families. He also currently serves as a member of the Foundation’s Lee County President’s Council.

“I am so proud to be part of an organization that brings hope, strength and joy to children who go through so much – all the challenges and pain brought on by their medical conditions,” says Falciglia.

Falciglia is an active volunteer with organizations supporting children, the arts and education. He currently volunteers and is the Chairman of the Films for Film Lovers Society of the Center for the Arts of Bonita Springs. He serves as a volunteer and is a past Board of Trustees member at Hodges University.

“On his application nearly 10 years ago, Tom stated his reason for wanting to join our Foundation was ‘to help those who help sick children’ – he has done that and so much more,” says Norm Wedderburn, president and CEO of the Make-A-Wish Foundation of Southern Florida. “Tom has been a loyal volunteer and I am pleased to welcome him as a new board member, he understands our mission and has a passion to help children.”
