Well, this scenario of an increasing number of TV channels being introduced, a wide number of shows being broadcast on each station constantly one after another, 24 hours TV, so on and so forth has led to creating a situation where it is very easy to sit in from of the set and watch programs throughout the day and night for hours together. This has in turn made unhealthy and harmful lifestyles for a lot of people as a standard routine that they go through every day. Therefore, it is necessary that a check needs to be kept over such a habit of being glued to this machine, since it is not at all beneficial for anyone.
The body needs physical exercise in certain amounts, and not providing it with that will lead to various forms of diseases or disorders. Discomforts would be caused very easily and different kinds of health problems also erupt. Obesity or gaining of weight is the most common one amongst these. As a result, it is not advisable that the TV is viewed for more than a couple of hours or so a day.
Instead, go out in the park and take a walk in the fresh air, do some stretching exercise, take a bicycle ride or even a light jog is a good way of staying lively and fit as opposed to getting addicted to the small screen.
