July 19, 2013 -Integrated PR, SEO and social media companyPunch Communications has bolstered its senior team with two promotions of key employees: EmmalineMcAndrew has been promoted to senior account manager and a new role has been created for Cassie O’Shea as she becomes senior editorial manager.
Since launching in 2003, Punch Communications has evolved into a fully integrated PR, SEO and social media agency that provides clients with strategic, creative and professional solutions across public relations, SEO and social media. By embracing industry changes and evolutions, Punch has continuously generated outstanding results across the three disciplines. The past year has seen Punch place an increasing emphasis on expansion across previously untouched fields of expertise. Acknowledging and adapting to the changing definition of PR, Punch has an ability to mould according to clients’ needs. The recent promotions support the fact that Punch recognises a need for agencies to expand both their copy and digital project management teams. Having also recently created an in-house design team, it is clear that Punch acknowledges the importance of specialist skills within a PR environment. Emmaline has been a member of the Punch team for one year having joined in July 2012 with a wide variety of experience spanning social networking, SEO, marketing, online PR and progressive digital involvement On her promotion, Emmaline said: “I’m looking forward to getting stuck into my new role. With more responsibilities and greater focus on planning and leading content teams, I am certainly in for a challenge, but I feel ready and I’m happy that Punch recognises that as well.”
Cassie joined the Punch team as an editorial manager in April 2012, bringing a plethora of editorial experience in diverse industries including publishing, communications, fundraising, recruitment and real estate. Cassie has continually delivered beyond the expectations of her position, offering a huge amount of support to senior members of the team and paving the way for future editorial roles within the agency. Cassie commented: “Knowing that Punch recognises me as an ambitious and enthusiastic team member is fantastic. I’ve jumped right into my new role and will strive to continue fulfilling client needs, supporting the directors and managing individuals within the team.”
