A new research suggests that chronic traumatic encephalopathy (CTE) which is considered as a brain disease is associated with repeat brain trauma.

August 31st, 2013 (http://www.kamagrarx.co) - A new research suggests that chronic traumatic encephalopathy (CTE) which is considered as a brain disease is associated with repeat brain trauma. It includes concussions in athletes, which may affect people in two major ways:

•Initially it may influence behavior or mood

•Or influence memory and thinking abilities

This disease has been discovered in professional and amateur athletes, members of the military and others who experienced repeated head injuries, which embrace concussions and subconcussive trauma.

This study examined the brains of 36 male athletes, aged 17 to 98. They were diagnosed with CTE after death and had no other brain disease like Alzheimer’s. The majority of these athletes had played professional football, or amateur, while the rest had participated in wrestling, boxing or hockey.

The researchers reviewed the athlete’s medical record and also interviewed the subjects’ family. They asked them about the athletes’ life and medical history particularly dementia, behavior, changes in thinking, mood, motor skills or ability to carry out daily living task.

Out of 36 athletes, 22 of them had mood and behavior problems as their first symptom of CTE, while 11 had memory and thinking problems as their first presage and three of them did not show any symptoms of CTE at the time of death.

Those with a mood and behavior problems experienced presages at a very younger age and thinking declined at some point. Almost 91 percent experienced mood and behavior symptoms throughout their disease, 55 percent experienced behavior symptoms and 64 percent experienced behavior symptoms at some point.
