Fruits and vegetables contain phytochemicals, several nutrients, as well as antioxidants which potentially guard from cancer.
18th September, 2013 (http://www.kamagrasex.com)- According to a new study, women who increase their consumption of fruits and vegetables likely reduce the risk of developing invasive bladder cancer. Fruits and vegetables contain phytochemicals, several nutrients, as well as antioxidants which potentially guard from cancer. The authors also explained that vegetables and fruits have been extensively studied for their possible effects on the risk of cancer.
Bladder cancer forms in the tissue of the bladder. The bladder is a cancer that stores urine. Squamous and adenocarcinoma cell develop in the cells in the inner lining of the bladder. This causes long-term irritation and inflammation. It can develop at any age but is more common among older adults. If it is diagnosed at an early stage the disease can be highly treatable but it has a high recurrence rate.
This study was set out to determine the effect of high fruit and vegetable consumption on the invasive bladder cancer risk. The researchers carried out a prospective analysis of older adults who participated in the study. The team examined the relationship between dietary, lifestyle, genetic factors and the risk of cancer. They also discovered that those with lowest bladder cancer risk were women who ate the most fruits and vegetables.
It was also discovered that women consuming highest yellow-orange vegetable intake had a 52% lower risk of developing invasive bladder cancer as compared to the women with the lowest consumption. Those consuming highest amount of vitamin A, C and E were the least likely to develop bladder cancer. The fruits and vegetables had no effect on male bladder cancer.
