Craving for a child but have problems in conception? Is low sperm count hurting your male ego? A new study may be a ray of hope for those who are suffering from azoospermia. According to a new research, exercising has an additional benefit of improving fertility by increasing sperm count.

17th October 2013, USA (http://www.realpharmacyrx.co/) : Craving for a child but have problems in conception? Is low sperm count hurting your male ego? A new study may be a ray of hope for those who are suffering from azoospermia. According to a new research, exercising has an additional benefit of improving fertility by increasing sperm count.

Researchers focused their attention on 137 men who were seeking treatment for decreased fertility. Semen samples and filled questionnaires regarding level of physical activity were collected from participants. When the findings were out, it was revealed that men who engaged in exercising 7 hours per week had higher than average sperm concentration.

Researchers also found correlation between type of activity and increased sperm count. For e.g. those who engaged in weightlifting had 25% rise in sperm count than their counterparts. Those who undertook outdoor physical activities showed 42% or more rise in sperm count. According to researchers, carrying out outdoor activity increased men’s exposure to Vitamin D which might have helped them to boost fertility. However, regular biking decreased sperm count. Possible explanation is that the excessive heat generated around the scrotums lead to reduction in sperm concentration.

The research was not related to effects of exercising on quality of sperms or their motility. Furthermore, cause-effect relationship between exercising and increased sperm concentration has not been established by this research. However, researchers found strong association between exercising and increased fertility.

So, stop whining. Wipe the dust off your sport shoes and grab your dumbbells. You may hope for the good results within a few months.
