Pollitt’s argument may appear to be undoubtedly sensible, but the tone and language of her piece demonstrates, she is worried about being type casted. I am aware, I will hurt and disappoint some people, but I have left with no choice. This is the only reason, I felt it is necessary to write this column but deliberately tried to refrain from getting into this debate. I often ask myself not to become blunt. Some people will definitely think that I am really a whimsical person. But, let them think what they want. I shall not keep bothering about it every time. Society will feel that, at one point I support issues of transgender in the context of abortion and simultaneously also commenting on it from feminine point of view. But, one subject has many angles and that have to be explored fully.
