How to Refinish Bathrooms and Save Money

But be sure the surface is cleaned and dried thoroughly before applying any brand of epoxy finish. Also carefully inspect the surface, tile or tub for cracks and other unusual marks that could indicate a more serious problem that an epoxy finish cannot fix. Simply applying a finish to a more serious problem will at best temporarily cover up a crack but not prevent it from leaking and causing irreparable damage to your bathroom or kitchen.
