A group of men dressed in western-style clothing and wearing cowboy hats held up a Golden Gate western-wear store this afternoon, Collier County authorities say.
Around 3:28 p.m., the group of four or five men entered the Rodeo Azteca store at 4017 23rd Ave., and stole clothing, accessories and cash, the Collier County Sheriff’s Office reported. All the men were wearing cowboy clothing and hats, and at least one had a gun.
Witnesses only described the men as being Hispanic.
Neither of the two employees was hurt in the stick-up. Anyone with information is asked to call the Collier County Sheriff’s Office at (239) 252-9300, or to remain anonymous and be eligible for an award, call Crime Stoppers at 1-800-780-TIPS (8477).
