I think Google should use friend-connect or some similarly simple system to help webmasters incorporate reviews into their blogs and websites.
A widget will go a long way to improving the system of stars and reviews.
With 36,000+ Collier County, Florida companies represented on http://free.naplesplus.us/sections/view.php/2/naples-business-directory-collier-county-associations-musicians I think that the addition of a web-wide review system will improve the quality of "local search", which is still in its infancy online.
I'm just glad that we can do our little part to help the effort.
