When the ovaries no longer produce sufficient amounts of estrogen and progesterone (as in menopause), the damage of these hormones can bring about various presages, including hot flashes (a sudden feeling of warmth that spreads over the body) and sweating.

14 August 2013, USA (http://www.royalpharmacyrx.com/) :Menopause is a stage in a woman's life when her ovaries stop yielding the hormones progesterone and estrogen and she stops having her monthly menstrual cycle. It is a common part of aging and marks the end of a woman's reproductive years. It generally occurs in a woman's late 40s to early 50s. It can also direct to sleep problems.

When the ovaries no longer produce sufficient amounts of estrogen and progesterone (as in menopause), the damage of these hormones can bring about various presages, including hot flashes (a sudden feeling of warmth that spreads over the body) and sweating. Menopausal women have sleep problems linked with hot flashes.

A new study indicates that easing hot flashes is not among the many benefits that exercise offers women. The researchers looked at 248 women who were either nearing menopause or were postmenopausal. They were segregated into two groups; 106 of them took part in aerobic exercise training three times a week for 12 weeks while the remaining did their usual activities.

All of the women kept daily diaries on their insomnia, hot flashes, sleep quality, night sweats, and presages of depression and anxiety. The investigators found that exercise program had small positive effects on insomnia, sleep quality, and depression, but had no meaningful influence on hot flashes.

They also found that women in the exercise group who were more fit to begin with had greater improvement in their hot flashes. Midlife women cannot await exercise to relieve hot flashes and night sweats but may reasonably expect it to boost their overall health and how they feel.
