Outage! fixed!
There was an outage from fri 5pm to sat 9am.
Around 5pm Friday night, my evening of heck began.
I couldn't get on this site! Which means NOBODY ELSE could either!
Hours I spent on it. Talked to server administrators. Researched on the internet.
Went to bed annoyed at being unable to figure it out.
Anyhow, it turned out to be something simple. My server host had just upgraded and must have accidentally set all of the files on my site as "unreadable" by the world. i went through, changed them all back, and all of the sudden, the site was back up again!
Meanwhile, I was able to prune some dead-wood out of the site, so I did get things done that I had been neglecting.
