Consider creating a Naples POI map for GPS
With 34,000 businesses listed in naplesplus, it is logical that it should be possible to create one.
After getting a new Garmin Nuvi for Christmas, now I want to see if I can create a comprehensive POI map (Points of Internet) map for the Collier County area. It would definitely be a great boon to businesses in Naples and all of Collier County. And it will be a public service not just to them (well, us, really!) but also to visitors and residents of Naples, the more technically minded.
Food for thought! Definitely a "heavy" project. But it should definitely be doable - especially if I can link the resulting XML (or whatever format it is) within the original business blog pages here on http://free.naplesplus.us
